EARNING POINTS:
All eligible purchases will be tracked via your Pals Rewards Program Account. Ensure you earn points for your spending by providing your Pals Rewards Member information upon checking out.
- In Stores: Provide your Pals ID from the mobile app or give them your phone number or email address to look up your account when checking out in store.
- Online/Mobile App: When checking out online, be sure you are logged-in and purchases will automatically be credited to your Pals ID once your items have shipped.
- Mobile App: Log in & see your points on under the “Pals Rewards” section
- Online: Visit Petco.com/PalsRewards & log into your account to see your points
- In Stores: Check the bottom of your receipt for points or ask a cashier
- Email: View your points at the top of your emails
Petco will send you an email notification of your earned Pals Rewards Dollar reward within (5) business days of accrual. In addition, you may log in anytime to your Account online or in the Petco App to view all current Pals Reward Dollar rewards and Points.
Make a purchase at least once every 90 days to keep your point balance active. Once your points convert to a Reward, you will have 45 days to redeem it.
Any points earned on the returned merchandise are deducted from your points balance. A negative points balance can result if you return a product with a point value greater than the amount of points in your account balance.
REDEEMING REWARDS:
Once you have earned Pals Reward Dollar, you can redeem it by:
- Loading the reward to your account for automatic redemption at in-store checkout
- Online at petco.com in your shopping cart or in "edit payment" when checking out online at petco.com
Pals Rewards are sent via email after a qualifying purchase, these rewards may not be used on same-day purchases.
Most products are eligible for points or rewards redemption. However, donations, gift cards, taxes, tips, cash back, and shipping fees are excluded. Pals Rewards cannot be redeemed at Just Food For Dogs Kitchens, Thrive Vet Hospitals, or at any third-party veterinary partner located within a Petco.
PALS REWARDS PERKS:
At this time both the nutrition perk and grooming perk are exclusively available in the Petco mobile app. To activate you log in to your Pals account in the Petco App and “unlock” each perk.
- Nutrition perk: Once “unlocked”, you will receive a credit(s) for any food purchase made within the last 7 days. It may take up to 24 hours for the credit(s) to show. A Pals member must purchase at least one bag of dry food every 12 months for credit(s) towards a free bag to remain active. All dry food purchases will count as a purchase towards the perk, no brands are excluded.
- Grooming perk: Once “unlocked” within the Petco mobile app, you will receive a credit(s) for any full-service bath or bath with haircut transaction made within the last 7 days. It may take up to 24 hours for the credit(s) to show. A Pals member must purchase at least one full-service bath or bath with haircut every 12 months for credit(s) towards a free groom to remain active.
The value of your perk is the average cost of the previous 7 bags purchased, minus all discounts (with the exception of Pals Rewards). The Pals Member will have 90 days to redeem their perk.
The grooming coupon is a 100% off single Full-service bath or bath with haircut.
Returning a purchased bag of food will result in a credit being deducted from your progress bar. If a participating member returns their 7th bag after earning a free bag perk, a credit will be deducted from the progress bar, in some cases resulting in a negative progress towards your next perk.
Membership Eligibility
No purchase is necessary to become a Pals Rewards member or enroll in our Pals Rewards program. An email address is required for a member to receive Pals Rewards communications and Reward Dollars. Must be 18 years or older to participate. See Full Pals Rewards Terms & Conditions.
